Hello and welcome to this Micro Disney Princess nail art gel painting course. My aim for you within this course is to teach you the techniques of gel and fine line painting in order for you to create realistic-looking characters to wow your clients or to start you on the road of competing in art categories at national and international level competitions.
This course is less about a particular character or design to paint and much more about the process and techniques required in order for you to pick any character you love and be able to paint it in detail.
Course starts 1st December 2020.
Within this course, you will learn what to look for when choosing a reference picture to paint, what details you need within your reference picture in order to be able to paint your character in detail. How to prepare your reference image and your nail tip to give you the best possible result. I will teach you how to achieve ultra-fine lines, what brushes to use along with what paints to use. We will also be covering how to transfer an image to your nail tip ensuring you have a recognizable character… and that’s all before we even pick up a paintbrush!
I will teach you how to start the process of mixing your colours, painting the skin tone along with the facial features, hair, accessories and clothing. The devil is definitely in the details so we will be paying close attention to shading. We will look at highlights, low lights and giving your final piece a little bit of Disney sparkle.
I truly hope you enjoy this Disney Princess nail art course and I look forward to seeing your work.
The ONLINE COURSE which shows you how to ‘nail’ the detail.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THIS COURSE.
f is imperative that you practice fine line application before you pick up your brush to paint your character. Fine lines are a huge part of micro painting and so to start you on your road to mastering this technique I will teach you what brushes you will need along with how to hold your brush and what pressure to apply.
Choosing a reference picture and preparing a nail tip
Within this lesson I will teach you what to look for choosing your reference picture, how to prepare your reference and your nail tip to achieve the best possible results in your painting.
Transferring an image to the nail tip.
This lesson will help you to transfer your chosen image onto the nail tip ensuring your image is centred on your tip and is in proportion with all of the detail you will need to paint.
Within this lesson we will begin to mix our paint, creating different degrees of skin tone to make a start on painting the skin, we will look at highlighting and lowlighting to build up a smooth appearance.
Much like when you look at a person, the first point your own eyes will fall when looking at a face is the eyes and so in this lesson I will teach you how to paint your characters eyes with minute detail.
Within this final lesson we will look at adding the final touches to my chosen character Jasmine and giving her a little Disney sparkle and bling. I will teach you how to create that sparkle using wet gel and creating a 3d effect with Bubble Gel.
